Reflection on 2021 January 1,2021

Normally we do Favorite Book Friday but I decided today we are going to do something different. Next week I’ll start with a book! Wednesday we spoke on are you coming expectant into the 2021. It’s wild that as I’m writing this it is almost 8pm and a few short hours away. Everyone has their New Year’s resolutions and stuff but I honestly don’t know what I want to do. I mean I ramble to you guys about my daily discoveries about my faith and how I’m growing in grace. I started this blog on my fourth spiritual birthday. I have to say I was at a definite low in my life. I’ve struggled with my mental health for a few years now but I definitely had a hard time over the summer. I did my first semester of college online, got a job and manage this blog. I have had some lows and some definite highs. Things didn’t go according to my plan but God’s plan is not the expected but far above I can imagine.

I am tuning into Passion Conference 2021 and I remember all the wonder to be found in this world. In 2021, I want to look for more wonder. I going to start living in today. I only have enough strength for one day at a time. I pray love finds me again. I pray I find joy in my Savior again. I pray God lights the path a little brighter in my call to ministry.

I hear a pastor say if you add up 2021 you get 5 and five is the number of Grace. What I can say is Jesus has gone ahead of you and he will see you there. He is the anchor for my soul. He is firm and secure. I got distracted and I started having a solo praise party! Happy new year! (It is now as finish typing) this is The year of the Lord favor! Happy 2021!
