I normally write my posts the day before but to be honest I forgot and I have had a very busy day. I move into my dorm next Wednesday so I’m still getting things together for school. It’s definitely been a lot to pack things up. I’m just fifteen minutes away from home so I don’t need much but remembering what I do need is a lot.

It’s been a busy week in America and I’m so excited to see progress for our future. There’s something special about seeing a woman like me in a position of power. Our ancestors fought for this right and here we are. I embrace my womanhood and being a black woman is inspiring to little kids of color everywhere and that’s amazing.

So this topic had been on my mind. Marriage! I’m not dating at the moment or anything like that but it’s been on my mind. I like what am I expecting out of it. I watched Chelsea Smith’s class on the Faithful App called “How to Stay Married”. I learned a lot about communication and so many useful tools so check it out if you have the chance.

Also I’m looking forward to something special this week. We’re going to have a condemnation in Instagram live on race, justice, the American church and feminism with a friend! Look forward to the announcement!
