“Simple Gospel” by United Pursuit

It’s #worshipsongsunday so chose this song. I was reminded of the gospel and it’s that simple. All you have to do is believe, there’s no other condition on it.

I want to know Lord like a know a friend. And guess what? God wants to be known like that. He desires relationships with you and me. Now I lay down religion to know Him. Religion teaches me I have to do something God to love me. I don’t have to though. God loves me as I am. I used to think I could keep God is a box to keep God like I want. But He’s far exceeded my box and my expectations. I’m laying my box down. I’m told to be be ashamed and I don’t measure up or good enough. But God’s still here with me.

God comes looking for and here I am with in my dust. No amount of untruth can separate us. I will rejoice in the simple gospel. I will rejoice in the You Lord.

The Gospel is that simple and that good.
