Worship Song Sunday January 24,2021
Happy Sunday friends! It’s #worshipsongsunday! I’ve got a really excited collab with a friend so look forward to seeing an announcement on it soon! We’re gonna talk more it tomorrow. Today’s song is “Written” by NorthPoint Worship. I heard this song at church camp and I love it and it’s such a beautiful reminder that you’re completely forgiven by God.
“By the power of Your blood, you have won my innocence. In the power of the cross, you’ve forgotten all my sin.”
Wow. Look at that. “On my heart this word is written: forgiven, forgiven. No guilt or shame can hold me, I’m covered by your mercy.”
“Forgiven” is written on your heart. The father covers you with his arms of mercy. “By the scars on your feet and hands, every chance of guilt is gone. In your freedom here I stand, you renamed me a child of God. Yes here in your freedom here I stand, your renamed me a child of God.”
Yes we’re forgiven. Our sin is paid for I full. Jesus defeated sin. Death no longer has the final word.
“It cannot be erased, it cannot be undone. This is Your final word to me and I believe it.”
Do you believe it today? You’re completely forgiven. It’s God’s final word about sin: it’s forgiven. Completely and there’s nothing you can do to change that. His love for you is relentless today and forever. He’s running after you with a love like no other.
