Like an Avalanche

It’s a beautiful Sunday in March for this #worshipsongsunday. We sang this song at Tuesday night worship and feel like you and I need this reminder again. His grace falls upon you like an avalanche.

God in his great love for you and me, sends his only son to die the death we deserve. He trades his righteousness for the same shame of sin. Even for those who’d walk away and never come back. He’s holding onto you.

“And I, find myself here on my knees again, caught up in grace like an avalanche. Nothing compares to this love, love, love, burning in my heart.”

I find myself on my knees at my Heavenly Father’s altar of grace again. I can go to him with confidence in my time of need. His grace is falling on you and me again and again and again. Nothing compares to this kind of love.

“Savior and Friend, Breathing Your life into my heart, Your Word is a lamp into my path. Forever I’m humbled by Your love.”

Jesus is your savior, but also your friend. His words light the path and his love humbled me. I’m forever loved by the God of the Universe.
