The Passion” by Hillsong Worship

Happy Palm Sunday! It’s Holy Week and oh what and what a difference it has been from 2020 to 2021. On this Sunday, Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey. The King of glory is riding in but not like how anyone expected. The people laid the coats on the ground and waves palm branches: they shouted “Hosanna!” Not too longer later, they’d shout to crucify Jesus. We used to see this song before Easter. It’s an happy upbeat song as we close Lent. In the United Methodist Church you don’t say hallelujah the 40 days of lent.

Look at the passion of our savior and the mercy of our God. He gave us his son as a measure of his love. “Our chains are gone, our debt is paid, the cross has overthrown the grave. For Jesus blood has set us free, means death or death and life for me”

“The innocent judged guilty, while the guilty one walks free. Death would be His portion and out portion liberty.”

Look at that. Jesus was the one who wasn’t guilty, he had done nothing wrong, yet Jesus gave his life for us on that cross. We’re free and our debt is completely paid in full. Tellesti.

“I’d give my whole life to honor this love. By the lamb who was slain, I’m forgiven l. The sinner’s savior, crown him forever. For the lamb who was slain I’m forgiven.”

Oh look at the passion of our savior during this Holy Week. Spend this week reflecting.
