Do you needs saving?

It’s literally Wednesday afternoon and I forgot to write this down. Oops. It’s also Christmas Eve Eve. So this question seems simple, like the answer is simple yes you do. We all need saving that’s why Jesus came. It all goes back to the garden. Adam and Eve disobeyed God and sin entered the world. Sin has consequences and had to be paid for.

“the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,”

But God stepped in. He didn’t want us to take the punishment we deserve so he gave us his best: his son Jesus. The only one who could pay for sin because he’s perfect. His body and blood were shed and broken. He paid for sin and full but that’s not the best part: he rose again after defeating the final enemy. The baby in the manger would became the man upon on a cross.

“But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).”

Who’s this savior? His name is Jesus and he’s here to save us. He’s here to save you so you can be with him forever. The only thing you have to do is believe there’s no other conditions. The best Christmas gift of all.
