Worship Song Sunday April 11,2021

I’ve got a crazy busy week ahead, including today so this post is going up as soon as I finish it. From Sunday to literally next Sunday will be busy. I’m gonna try to get a lot writing done during my lunch breaks. I can’t wait to share with you guys once it happens. Anyway let’s spend these next few minutes focused on this song. “Ain’t No Grave” is the song for today. This has been my jam for like a week now thanks to campus ministries.

The beginning of the song talks about shame is a prison and robber. Love is our redeemer as where our freedom song is. “There ain’t no grave gonna hold this body down, when I hear that trumpet sound; I’m gonna rise up outta the ground. There ain’t no grave gonna hold my body down.”

Fear is a liar and and tyrant. Love in in It’s truest form is Jesus’ resurrection. “Love is my weapon, I’m gonna take my giants down.” There isn’t a grave that can hold this body down.

The battle between death and life is a war for your soul. The Lamb of God was crucified. “And he went down to hell, he took back every key. He rose up as a lion and He set all the captives free.” There isn’t a grave that can hold Jesus’s body down.

“If you walked out of the grave, I’m walking too.” If Jesus walked out of the grave with freedom in his hands, there’s freedom for you too. There’s no grave that hold you down. Live in that freedom today.
