It’s been a busy few weeks. For one I can say i finished my freshman year of college on last Friday as on like 9am. I got my second vaccine dose Thursday but I feel good now. So I’m planning on getting back to a schedule and working on my book, “Room for Grace”. I’m hoping to make this book about ten chapters. I’m not exactly what my plans are this summer. Probably writing and keeping up with you guys.
I went on a little adventure today to look for a shirt I accidentally donated. I didn’t find it yet but I was literally going to buy my shirt back from goodwill. But reminds me of Hosea and Gomer. This story wasn’t actually one I remember reading that much growing up. Basically Hosea is a prophet who God tells to marry a prostitute. They have children together yet she still runs off. At one point she runs off and is being sold at a auction as a slave. Hosea literally buys his wife back and takes her home. Like what kind of love story is this? It’s illogical and doesn’t make sense. How could a God love his people like this? Like the wages of his is death. That’s the price of sin but God steps in. He says you don’t have to pay it. God pays the debt in full with the blood of his son. That makes salvation free. It also means something you probably didn’t think of. You’re valuable before God. Infinitely valuable to the point God gives you the great exchange. This is death for life. Sin is finished and paid for. Take and break and get some rest. Take a real rest as sumner begins. I love you all so much.
